If you read the two articles that are linked to on the left you will learn albout about Mel,
his friends led by Dale at Post 291 brought back Melfest in 2007. The first year was a lot
of feeling things out and getting organized, we also had a pretty cold day, but it was still
a success. In 2008 the weather was great we had on site rustic camping, plenty of food
and great music by Marshall Law. The turn out has been growing and we hope to keep
it that way. This year we are hoping to have a bigger and better turn out.
